Novatel was established in the end 2004 as part of Deutsche Telekom Group. As a member of one of the largest European telecommunication companies, Novatel offers a competitive alternative in the field of telecommunications on the Bulgarian communication market. We are a leading national carrier offering our customers a wide range of top excellence telecommunication services.
Novatel operates extensive, fully-owned, leading-technology regional fiber optics network with 39 PoPs across Bulgaria. As a part of Deutsche Telekom group we stick to the highest industry standards in operations, maintenance and customer service.
Based on the extensive international experience and the solid competences and capabilities of our group, Novatel provides telecommunication services at competitive prices primarily for business partners and Internet service providers in the South Eastern European region.

Addressing the trends within the industry such as rapidly changing behavior of our customers, evolving technologies or an increasing bandwidth demand, Novatel/Novatel/Deutsche Telekom has consistently putting itself to the test and evolve its vision and goals.
In this process, corporate culture is key and the corporate values act as cornerstones forming this culture. Therefore, the Guiding Principles have been evolved. They are strong tools which guide our behavior and represent our values and beliefs. However, the values are not just made for internal use – it is also meant for the outside world. They emphasize the role Novatel/Novatel/Deutsche Telekom is playing as a responsible corporate citizen.
The five Guiding Principles of Novatel/Deutsche Telekom
- Customer delight drives our action. This principle focuses on the most important thing for the business: not only satisfying customers, but delighting them. The customers’ thoughts, feelings, needs and experience must drive Novatel/Deutsche Telekom.
- Respect and integrity guide our behavior. The second principle goes beyond respecting one another as colleagues in every day business. It is also about truly respecting customers, partners, suppliers and shareholders.
- Team together, team apart. The third principle focuses on Novatel/Deutsche Telekom’s culture of working together. Teams should openly discuss issues and exchange opinions. But once a decision has been made, the decision is upheld by the entire team. At separate workplaces all over the world, the decision is implemented and executed as one team.
- Best place to perform and grow. The fourth principle recognizes the importance of employees for the company and company culture. To become the most highly regarded service company in the telecommunications industry and beyond, Novatel/Deutsche Telekom relies on the commitment and success of everyone. This principle combines the commitment from both management and employees to make Novatel/Deutsche Telekom the best place to perform and grow.
- I am T, count on me. The final principle involves personal commitment to Novatel/Deutsche Telekom from every employee. It means that when a customer has a problem each employee is personally committed to solving it. Colleagues can count on one another as well as shareholders and customers counting on the company.
The Guiding Principles are the basis of how we work together for our customers, shareholders and the public. The top management at Novatel/Deutsche Telekom is committed to living the values at all times and to embedding them in the Group. The goal is for all employees, to truly live the vision and values.
Building up on that, the Code of Conduct is our code of behaviour and makes our Guiding Principles more tangible. It defines the rules for our daily business both internally and externally. It creates the bridge between the Guiding Principles and the many different guidelines and legal regulations within the Group. It also complies with the listing standards of the New York Stock Exchange.

The applicable legal system, our vision, our mission and our corporate values form the basis for all corporate decisions and our daily business activities. This is the foundation of our corporate culture, which fosters trust in our Group.
Implementation
Group management allows for an open and predictable corporate culture. Here, the employees differentiate between appropriate and questionable behavior on the basis of the moral, legal and corporate values of the Novatel/Deutsche Telekom Group.
The Novatel/Deutsche Telekom Group expects its senior executives to carry out all business efficiently and in line with the Code of Conduct. To achieve this, senior executives shall provide the necessary working conditions for employees and ensure compliance with the Code of Conduct. They consistently identify, discuss and prevent misconduct and take consequent action against it.
All employees must act in compliance with the Code of Conduct. In case of doubt, employees should not hesitate to confide with their superiors or the responsible organization.
Violations of the Code of Conduct may have consequences as provided by employment law or, in the case of civil servants, disciplinary consequences.
Application and Validity
The Code of Conduct applies to all employees of the Novatel/Deutsche Telekom Group: Boards of Directors, managing directors, senior executives, employees, civil servants and persons whose status is equivalent to that of employees (e.g. temporary workers, consultants).
When implementing the Code of Conduct, international affiliates shall abide by their respective national legislation.

Gerassim Y Slavov
CEO
Gerassim Y Slavov has extensive experience in the field of building successful brands and developing marketing strategies and activities to grow revenue and increase brand loyalty, aimed at precisely targeted audiences.
His management experience in telecommunication companies such as Azerfon (Baku, Azerbaijan), AMC (Tirana, Albania), Velcom (Minsk, Belarus) and Mobiltel (Sofia, Bulgaria) provides a high level of expertise in the development of companies in the technology sector.
Gerassim’s experience as a creative director in one of the titans of advertising, Leo Burnett, adds completeness to his ‘experience map’, proving the knowledge of the entire process of preparing, establishing and developing a brand and the company behind it, especially in the high-tech and media industries.
Gerassim speaks Bulgarian (mother tongue), English, Russian, and Italian fluently, and has a working knowledge of German.
He holds an MBA from the University of Lincoln, United Kingdom. His master’s degree is from the University of Limerick in Ireland and the bachelor’s degree is from the American University in Bulgaria.
Todor Georgiev
BD and Technology Director
Todor Georgiev has been Business Development and Technology Director of Novatel since 2016 with more than 20 years experience in Telecom and IT industry.
Todor joined Novatel’s team in beginning of 2016 as Business Transformation Manager with a goal to restructure the technical department and to develop new and modern telecom services to help Novatel to follow the international standards for innovative telecom services. Before Novatel Todor was on different senior management positions in various companies as ISG Technology UK and Telelink Bulgaria.
Todor Georgiev holds a master degree in Telecommunications from the Technical University of Sofia and Master of Business Administration from Warwick University UK.


Kamen Georgiev
Sales Director
Kamen Georgiev has been Sales Director of Novatel since 2014 after more than 4 years with the company and 9 years of experience in the telecommunication industry.
Kamen joined Novatel`s team in 2010 as Manager Corporate Sales. He has been later appointed as a Sales Director, responsible for the sales strategy of the company. Since 2015 Kamen has been deeply involved in the transformation of Novatel from a pure Telecom provider to Integrated Telecom and Managed IT Services provider. Before Novatel, Kamen was part of Interoute`s sales team based in Prague, working with enterprise customers from Central and Western Europe and USA.
Kamen Georgiev holds a bachelor degree in Telecommunications from the Technical University of Sofia. He has a specialization in the field of 3G/4G mobile technologies from the University of Twente in Enschede, the Netherlands. Currently, Kamen is pursuing an Executive MBA at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain.
